Fixing the aluminium boat

When we bought Promise Lodge (what we now call The Owl's Roost) we had a 14 ft Starcraft aluminium boat and a Grumman canoe thrown in. The boat had had its original seats removed and a crude floor and swivel fishing seats installed, and was generally looking pretty dilapidated. I removed 180 lb of plywood, aluminium, and soggy foam and built new seats. We bought a 3 hp Torqueedo electric outboard to power it.
