The links below take you to various "photo albums". These have been made using different methods as I have experimented over the years. They should all work fine with the latest versions of IE, but there may be problems with other browsers, and some require JavaScript to be enabled.

Most of the photos in these albums have been compressed and resized to make them suitable for an 800x600 screen resolution web browser. If you would like a copy of the original (digital) picture before it was resized, then please email me.

A few pictures of the orchestra taken in 2001. (Laval music festival, St. Jean-Baptiste day in Ste. Anne-de-Bellevue, Pollack Hall Christmas concert.)

Scott Loong, Ludovic Mathieu-Moulin, Alec Richardson, Thuy-Lan Nguyen, Megin Fong, Douglas Dunn and Erin Halpin when they took part in the annual concerto competition.

Kiel Howden organized a ten piece wind ensemble drawn from members of the WIYSO, and Beaconsfield High School. They performed a variety of pieces in the cafeteria at the veterans' hospital, as part of the entertainment on Fathers Day.

As part of the St. Jean-Baptiste day festivities the WIYSO performed outdoors in Beaconsfield and Dorval.

The WIYSO spent their annual weekend camp at Orford.

Two WIYSO ensembles - a woodwind trio and a brass quintet - played at the Bois de Liesse open-house in May 2003.

This was the end of year concert for the junior and senior orchestras, held in St Joachim's church.

These were taken on the last day of the festival. In the morning the brass quintet performed in the Easter Day service at a local church. In the afternoon the WISYO orchestra joined with the Mississauga Youth Symphony Orchestra to rehearse and then perform under the direction of Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

They performed in support of the Missing Children's Network at Fairview, Pointe-Claire, 8th November 2003

This is not WIYSO, but one of the members of WIYSO played in it. Around 20 tuba and euphonium players from the Montreal area got together to play in the Complexe Desjardins, Montreal, 6th December 2003. Alain Cazes conducted.

WIYSO hosted the Saskatoon Youth Orchestra during their visit to Montreal in February 2004. These photos were taken at Lindsay-Place and Pierrefonds Comprehensive high schools and at the church of St. Ignace in Coteau-du-Lac.

As part of the St. Jean-Baptiste day festivities the WIYSO performed outdoors in Dorval. Early the next morning they were at Dorval airport for their flight to Saskatoon

The annual weekend camp, held again at the Orford Arts Centre, September 17th to 19th 2004.
